Now I understand you have installed and setup DoT Products extra details and looking for some help to hit the road. Don't worry here I am showing you how you can easily add details in tabular format to your products.


For adding Extra detail in product.

Step 1:

Login to admin area and go to the Apps from Shopify left menu in admin area.

Step 2:

In Installed apps click on DoT Products extra details. If not install from here. Now you will see Product list.

Step 3:

On Product list click on Add extra details button to add extra detail to your product.

Step 4:

On the next page

  • enter Title for Extra detail
  • Select Show Product extra detail based on (Pre defined, New, From a product). Pre defined is based on the default setting in the app, New option provide you blank sheet to add rows and From a product will show you options created in other products of your store.

  • So, for now I am selecting New option so I can show you how it works. After selecting New you will see a button Add Field.

  • Click on Add field you will see one row with two text field. in left you can enter title and in right you can enter value. Like here in image you can see (1) Material and (2) Leather

  • Add as much field as you want and then click on Save Details.


Step 5:

Done. now you can see the product on front page and you will see something like this. You can directly add details from admin product detail page by selecting More action and then add extra detail.

For changing style.

Step 1:

Login to admin area and go to the Apps from Shopify left menu in admin area.


Step 2:

In Installed apps click on DoT Products extra details. If not install from here. Now you will see Product list.


Step 3:

On Product list page click on Styling in right top section of window.step 2


Step 4:

 On next page change the values for sections in storefront. step 4


Step 5:

Click on Submit and you are ready to go. check product page to see the changes. You can click on Default to use default value of styling.


Step 6:

Click on Go back to go back to home page.
